How can business schools become real platforms for change? In their new chapter published in Breakthroughs in Sustainable Business Education (Routledge, 2025), Katrin Muff and Thomas Dyllick explore how the Positive Impact Rating (PIR) empowers schools to collaborate with students and take concrete action towards positive transformation.
The PIR Working Groups, launched at the 2023 PRME Global Forum in New York, enabled schools to reflect on what to “stop doing” and “start doing” to enhance their societal impact — using a participatory approach rooted in the 50+20 project.
🎧 Curious to learn more? We discussed this chapter in our latest podcast episode, including a case study from the University of St. Gallen and stories from PIR schools around the world.
